Strong demand for new-build homes

Family homes are being snapped up at The Paddocks, Pickstock Homes’ new development located on the site of the former riding stables in Baschurch. This exclusive development of just 19 properties comprises three, four and five bedroom family homes with large gardens, tucked away in a private location on the edge of the village. The focal point of The Paddocks is the village green with estate iron railings and large nature pond in a truly idyllic rural setting. Such is demand that over half the properties have now been reserved.

Located on the outskirts of Whitchurch, Manor Fields enjoys a semi-rural location that combines the very best of town and country living. This brand new development of three and four bedroom homes has proved so popular with buyers there are now just three homes remaining. These spacious four bedroom homes have versatile, open plan layouts designed to meet the demands of modern family life.

Phase 1 Irvine Gardens was hugely popular with buyers and high demand continues with phase 2. There is a selection of beautiful homes to suit all buyers: from a 2 bed coach house – perfect for first time buyers – to three, four and five bedroom family homes. Eden is a stunning five bedroom home available to buy through our part-exchange scheme, which takes the stress out of moving. With no estate agent fees and no chain, the guaranteed sale means you can move house swiftly and hassle free.

A new build home is up to 55% cheaper to run than an older property, according to the NHBC. Our homes are built to a high specification and you get a lot more for your money. By buying an energy efficient home you could save up to £1,400 a year on utility bills, compared to a Victorian equivalent (figures from www.hbf.co.uk).

Pickstock Homes’ energy efficient properties are also backed with a 10-year NHBC guarantee for your peace of mind.

“Our new build homes are designed for modern families in mind and offer so many benefits, such as lower running costs and maintenance,” said Camilla Pickstock, director at Pickstock Homes.

“One of the main advantages to buying off-plan is the chance to choose your own fixtures and fittings. We offer plenty of options to personalise your kitchen, bathroom and more.”

When buying a brand new home you can benefit from the Government’s Help to Buy Scheme, which makes the process much more affordable. Available for existing homeowners as well as first-time buyers, you could get moving with just a 5% deposit and a 75% mortgage from your lender of choice.
