Now is the Best Time to Buy

According to a March report from the Building Societies Association, 40% of prospective home buyers view now as the best time to buy. With the property market beginning to recover, house prices are expected to go up in the near future. This means that buying a house now may be the best bet, so today is the perfect time to find your new Pickstock Homes home.

The new report shows that the biggest barrier people have to buying a new property is raising a deposit. 63% of respondents admitted that the issue of the deposit was the most difficult aspect, alongside access to mortgage finance options.

This means that the Help to Buy scheme is now more relevant than ever as it alleviates the most difficult part of buying a new home. Only 5% deposit is required on a new home, the government’s equity loan lends buyers up to 20% of the house’s value, meaning a 75% mortgage can be secured.

Pickstock Homes has sites across Mid Wales and Shropshire, so there is no reason to wait. You could secure your dream home today.
